Centrally Peripheral examines the relationship between the immaterial and what what perceive and feel as our physical reality. The entire room is dimly lit with red light. The red light both functioning as a symbol for heat [the most basic of material/particle catalysts] and as a photographic "safe light" for the participants in the sequential narrative occurring between the images. As the viewer walks around the booth and follows the constructed narrative within the images, they also experience a cluttered sound loop of a mix of numerous trips to a busy intersection in Tokyo.

The images portray a short scene of two people walking towards one another distracted by their mobile phones...send/checking messages, until they finally collide in accident and succumb to their physicality and fall to the ground.
